Bouznika – beautiful costal town you are going to love

Bouznika is a charming coastal town located in Morocco. It has a population of approximately 37,000 inhabitants. Situated between Rabat and Casablanca, it offers a perfect escape from the busy city life.

The name of the city means “Owner of the small alley” (In Arabic, Bou means owner and znika stands for zanqa meaning street).

Attractions in Bouznika

One of Bouznika’s main attractions is its beautiful coastline, featuring a sandy beach along the Atlantic Ocean. The beach of Bouznika goes into a curve, and you can have a lovely walk there.

Bouznika is also known for La Kasbah. This historic fortress stands proudly overlooking the beach, with its orange colors creating a contrast against the blue sky and sea. As you approach the kasbah, you’ll be greeted by a charming atmosphere, with cozy cafes and restaurants offering panoramic views of the sea.
